Frosty friends

Handmade card with three snowmen, hand-colored with alcohol markers.

How to

First I cut the shape with the cutting die “Sewn rectangles” using the largest one available.

Next, I cut the three stars from the die “Moon and stars”. Subsequently, I applied the embossing folder “Snowflakes” to the rectangular shape .

Then, using first the “blueprint sketch” and then the “tumbled glass” I started shading over the stars just cut, covering only half of the each star and leaving the rest in white.

In the meantime, I printed the snowmen, the three speech bubbles and the trees, using the clear stamps of “frosty friends”. Once printed, I colored them with alcohol markers, trying to obtain shaded effects.

Once the molds were colored, I cut them with the matching cutting dies.

In the final stage I assembled the card putting the rectangular shape with the cut stars in pop-up using the 3D foam tape while in each star I glued the colored matching pieces. The snowmen and the trees are glued inside each star shape.

I completed the postcard with a round stamp on the back saying “Handmade with ”.
