Snow one like you

Handmade card with Santa Claus and a snowman, colored with alcohol markers.

How to

First I cut the shape with the cutting die “Sewn rectangles” using the largest one available.

Next, I cut the rounded circle in the top-middle of the rectangular shape. Subsequently, I applied the embossing folder “Ornaments hung design” to the rectangular shape without the circle.

Then, using first the “tumbled glass” ink and then the “mowed lawn” I started shading over the circle. Then, using the snowy die from the Sizzix die “gift box” I cut the snow on the circle.

In the meantime, I printed Stanta Claus, the snowman, and the pines of the clear stamp “‘Tis the Season”. Once printed, I started coloring them with alcohol markers.

Once the molds were colored, I cut them with the matching cutting dies.

Then I printed the writing “There’s snow one like you” and cut it using the “Stitched rect word wind”.

I added in the background the house taken from the die “happy village”.

In the final stage I assembled the card putting in popup the rectangular background, instead the circle in the middle is stuck on the white card. Santa, the snowman and the pines are put in popup using the 3d foam tape. Then I added 3 stars in the sky, and the banner with the wish in popup.

I completed the postcard with a round stamp on the back saying “Handmade with ”.
